Will this fly???

During the dark ages, they tried building a flying machine. They stuffed the wings with goose feathers and believed that will make this contraption fly. They thought they were thinking ahead by fortifying the underbelly of this machine with stone slabs to prevent attacks such as catapults and fire arrows.
